Maybe it isn't quite obvious?
Isn't it amusing/baffling when people state/ask the obvious? I find those situations pretty smirk-worthy and today's visit to the obstetrician was one of those occasions. I have been visiting the "high risk" obgyn (located on the 7th floor) for my routine check ups [they classify you as 'high risk' if you depart from the normal pregnancy scenario and gestational diabetes automatically escalates me to the 'high risk' category] and had not visited my primary care obstetrician (located on the 3rd floor) in several months and was told that I needed to make an appointment to basically catch up. Hence, after my 7th floor appointment, I stopped by the 3rd floor to schedule an appointment. Mind you, if you've seen my previous post, you'd see that I am obviously pregnant so I was rather taken aback when the scheduler who had full view of me ask if I were pregnant!

heheh.. sometimes i'm glad i'm out of the "could she be just fat?" to "she's obviously pregnant" stage too :) Sorry to hear about the gestational diabetes though. I had my test done on friday, and am hoping no news from the doctor means good news.

That person gotta be blind not to see that you're very pregnant. Eh your tummy looks big lah. You sure you're not having twin? If you are, I can jaga 1 for you. *wink*

Letti - No news IS good news for sure! I think if you've not had any problems during you routine urine tests, should most likely be okay, they discovered mine that way, didn't even have to do the yucky glucose tolerance test!
Pearly - Happy New Year to you and your gang too! Wahhhh, tonight I cannot sleep already for sure, so happy someone say 'pretty mum'! ha ha... my hubby complain that my butt getting big la, susah for me to get and out of his truck la.... ayoh... macam2 la that boy!
Far - Yeah I don't know how she could miss that! But yeah, everyone either thinks I am due soon or that I am carrying twins but believe me, dah check berkali-kali, satu je.... si fibroid punye pasal lah, everything is being pushed up to make room for it so nampak macam Jon & Kate Plus 8's belly!
